     - **4th Year:** Approximately INR 40,000 per month.

   - **Allowances:** Additional allowances based on the place of posting and nature of duty.

   - **Seva Nidhi Package:** On completion of the four-year service, Agniveers receive a one-time 'Seva Nidhi' package, which includes their contributions and interest accrued, along with a matching contribution from the government. This is expected to be around INR 11.71 lakhs.

   - **Insurance:** A life insurance cover of INR 48 lakhs during the service period.

 1. CDSE (Combined Defence Services Examination) (For Men Only)

- Permanent Commission: Men can enter and get a Permanent Commission.

- Eligibility Criteria:

  Age: 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course)

  Nationality: Indian

  Marital Status: Single

  Gender: Men only

  Educational Qualifications:

    - Passed in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level

    - Graduation with a minimum three-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized University

    - OR 

BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University

    - Final year students are eligible to apply provided:

      - No present backlog

      - Secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester/year

      - Produce provisional/original degree issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement

  No Percentage Bar: For CDSE entry

2. NCC Special Entry (For Men and Women)

Application: Candidates can apply online through NCC Special Entry

Eligibility Criteria:

  Age: 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course)

    - Upper age limit for Candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years

  Nationality: Indian

  Marital Status: Single

  Gender: Men and Women

  Educational Qualifications:

    - Passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level

    - Graduation with a minimum three-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

    - OR 

BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

    - OR 

cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

    - Final year students are eligible to apply provided:

      - No present backlog

      - Secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester/year at the time of AFSB testing

      - Produce provisional/original degree issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement

  Additional Requirement:

    - NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate

    - Validity of the certificate would be two years before the date of advertisement

- **Advertisement Schedule**: Advertisements released by the IAF in June and December


3. AFCAT Entry (SSC for Men and Women)

Short Service Commission (SSC): 14 years with no further extension

- Eligibility Criteria:

  Age: 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course)

    - Upper age limit for Candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years

  Nationality: Indian

  Marital Status: Single

  Gender: Men and Women
